WILL GUARD MY HEART
We have all been wounded in the spirit
. Some by those in the House of God and some by family and
friends . David said in
Psalms
109 : 22
"my
heart [spirit] is wounded within me."
There
are those who had a heart full of love and care . If there
was someone in need , they where always there to help .
Then they found some folks who were fickle and even
questioned the intents of the caring persons heart.
Each time they had blows to the heart
[spirit] , the spirit got wounded. Many built walls around
themselves to protect their spirit from hurtful blows.
Thinking if I build a wall around me, my spirit will not
be wounded . But to do that , all of those around us is
shut out . Then walls produce bitterness , unforgiveness
and the like .
Then
we find ourselves all alone . We lose peace and friends
that really care for us . Without friends and peace this
old world is a lonely and empty place . We put ourselves
in a prison of the spirit and we die a slow spiritual
death . Even when we want to tear the walls down , we hear
the voice of Satan saying "if you tear the walls down
and begin to love again , you will suffer for it" .
Many times we agree with him and fail to seek deliverance
.
But when we turn to Jesus and hear Him
say
"put
your trust in Me and I will teach you to love again , come
what may".
People
are not perfect , they all make mistakes . No matter how
hard they try to not hurt us , they are bound to hurt us .
Jesus would say "if you look past them and trust Me
and let Me love through you , the walls will come down . I
can tear the walls down and here is how we will start . I
will help you "brick by brick", hurts ,
unforgiveness , bitterness and all the rest . One by one
the walls will come down as we tear "brick by
brick" away . Then your spirit will love again and
care again . You will have a brand new feeling inside
you"!!!
Before Jesus spoke , many thought they
could no longer love or care again . He sent the Holy
Spirit to pour Heavenly Oil and Wine on the wounds of the
spirit . Then the healing of the wounds , brought the
walls down and we found ourselves loving and caring one
more time . Sometimes greater because we had experienced
wounds in the spirit and knew what others was going
through .
The Father and the Son knows what a
wounded spirit is . Jesus was beaten and rejected by those
He thought was His own . Maybe you have been wounded in
your spirit . Child of God , DO NOT let Satan build walls
around you and shut you out from those who may have
wounded you . There are more who care for you then the
ones who have wounded you . Jesus is knocking on
your spirit door , let Him in and He will restore you and
make you a Torch of Divine Love!!!
